HARFORD COUNTY - The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a garage fire that caused an estimated $100,000 in damages on Saturday in Churchville.

According to officials, firefighters from the Level Volunteer Fire Company responded to 2940 Grafton Lane around 10:14 p.m. on Saturday.

A total of 35 firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control within 30 minutes, officials said.

The Level Volunteer Fire Company noted that one firefighter noted a minor injury sustained during the fire after returning to the fire department. They declined any transport for medical treatment.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the cause of the fire was accidental, stemming from an unspecified electrical failure within the garage's interior.
