Harford Community College Foundation Golf Tournament Raises Over $58K For Scholarships
HARFORD COUNTY - The Harford Community College Foundation's 30th Annual Summer Swing Golf Tournament drew a crowd of 128 golfers on July 17, raising over $58,000 for student scholarships.
The event, featuring an enjoyable day of golfing, games, and camaraderie, was made possible by an array of sponsors and an enthusiastic volunteer force. With a mission to raise essential scholarship funds for Harford Community College students, the foundation successfully raised over $58,000 from the tournament.
The funds are earmarked for student scholarships and financial assistance, providing critical support for many students at the community college.
The Summer Swing Golf Tournament is not just a fun annual event but an important tradition that strengthens community bonds while supporting students at Harford Community College.
As the dust settles on this year's successful event, plans for next year's tournament are in place, with the date set for July 15, 2024.
