HAVRE DE GRACE - Havre de Grace's community favorite, "Thirsty Thursdays with Theatre," is making its much-anticipated return. The iconic event is set to reopen at its new home, the STAR Centre, on Thursday, September 7th, at 7:30 p.m.

This unique experience, combining the best of theater and local beverages, brings together community members and theatre enthusiasts alike. With a focus on local talent, the event features play readings by area actors, presented in an intimate, stripped-back style with no sets, costumes, or props, ensuring the spotlight is squarely on the actors and the written words. Despite the relocation, organizers promise the same vibrant atmosphere that "Thirsty Thursdays" attendees have come to love.

The evening will start with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. for tastings, followed by the play reading at 7:30 p.m. Those aged 21 and over can sample the evening's featured wine or brew, included with their admission.

This inaugural event at the new location will feature "The Memory of Water." The play, written by one of Britain's newest playwrights, explores the dynamics of memory and family as three sisters reunite after their mother's death and find their memories of past events are more fluid than they thought.
