Annual 55+ Healthy Lifestyle Expo slated for Thursday, Aug. 10

ELKTON, Md. – The 21st Annual 55+ Healthy Lifestyle Expo will be held Thursday, Aug. 10, from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Elkton High School at 110 James Street in Elkton. This event is a collaboration between the Cecil County Department of Community Services and Cecil College’s Lifelong Learning Department.

The 55+ Healthy Lifestyle Expo will feature opportunities to meet community resource representatives and vendors and talk to them about Medicare options, healthy eating, financial planning, Cecil County history, wellness opportunities, and more. This event is ideal for anyone contemplating starting or changing a fitness or exercise program, as there will be opportunities to try different fitness classes for seniors and learn about additional programs.

The registration fee is $10, which includes lunch provided by Caffé Gelato.

Additional 21st Annual 55+ Healthy Lifestyle Expo sponsors include ChristianaCare and APG Federal Credit Union.

To register, call Cecil College at 410-287-1078, dial option 6, and then provide course number SCX100-24, or register in person at Cecil College’s Elkton Station, located at 107 Railroad Ave. in Elkton. Registrations are also being accepted at the Healthy Lifestyles Fitness Center at the Cecil County Administration Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd. in Elkton.
