HAVRE DE GRACE - The Havre de Grace Little League senior softball team scored their third consecutive Maryland state championship on Tuesday night, marking the squad's seventh state title.

The young athletes, aged 15 and 16, secured their title by demolishing Caroline and Calvert with 45 runs over three games. Both games concluded prematurely due to a mercy rule.

The team now progresses to the Little League senior softball Eastern Regionals, where they will represent Maryland against all-star teams from the Northeast region. The tournament is slated to take place in Worcester, Massachusetts, from July 22nd to 26th.

The Havre de Grace Little League is currently fundraising for its upcoming trip to Massachusetts.

"You've supported our All-Stars this entire journey, please help us get to that next level with your monetary donations! HdG is representing not only our league, and District 5, but the state of Maryland as well! We want to bring that Eastern Regional title back to Havre de Grace," the league said in a statement.

Those interested in contributing to their journey can donate here.
