Second Annual Summer Museum Adventure Set To Kick Off In Havre De Grace

HAVRE DE GRACE - Havre de Grace is welcoming visitors and residents to its second Summer Museum Adventure. This cultural extravaganza unites nine distinguished local museums in a unique initiative to highlight the area's history.

The Greater Havre de Grace Museum Association has curated the Summer Museum Adventure pass to create an enriching journey through the area's vibrant cultural tapestry.

Participants are invited to collect an adventure card from any participating museum and accumulate stamps from a minimum of six. Completed cards can be submitted at any participating museum or the Havre de Grace Welcome Center. In return, completed cards will be entered into a prize draw with offerings from the Museum Association members.

The participating museums are:

• The American Legion Post 47
• Bahoukas Antiques & Beer MuZeum
• Concord Point Lighthouse and Keeper's House Museum
• The Havre de Grace Colored School Museum and Cultural Center
• The Havre de Grace Decoy Museum
• Hosanna School Museum
• Lock House Museum
• Steppingstone Farm Museum
• Washington Street Books & Entertainment Museum

Prizes for those who complete the museum trail include:

• A generous gift basket from the Historic Havre de Grace Foundation.
• An exclusive ticket to the Lock House Museum's Candlelight Tour.
• A scale model pirate ship from Bahoukas Antiques.
• Memberships to several museums.

The Summer Museum Adventure will run until July 31. Opening hours and admission fees may differ among museums, and visitors are advised to check each museum's website for accurate details.
