Edgewood Woman Survives Shooting In Aberdeen, Harford County Sheriff's Office Investigating
HARFORD COUNTY - Harford County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the 200 block of Perrywood Court in Aberdeen following reports of a shooting around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday.
Upon arrival, they found evidence of a shooting incident, though no victim was present.
Shortly after, at about 12:35 a.m., deputies were informed by Upper Chesapeake Medical Center staff that a female gunshot victim had arrived at the facility.
The victim, identified as 31-year-old Edgewood resident Shemeka Crawford, is reported to have been shot on Perrywood Court by unidentified assailants.
She was subsequently transferred to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment of injuries that were not deemed life-threatening.
The sheriff's office has not yet released further details.
The case remains under active investigation.
