HARFORD COUNTY - A fire prompted the evacuation of Joppatowne High School just before dismissal on Tuesday.
Crews from the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company were called to Joppatowne High School at approximately 2 p.m. on Tuesday. All students and staff were safely evacuated.
Fire sprinklers helped combat most of the flames but smoke filled the building, the fire department reported.
No injuries were reported.
The Maryland fire marshal will be investigating the fire.
