HAVRE DE GRACE - Residents of Havre de Grace can now feel even safer when visiting their local parks, thanks to the installation of two new adult/pediatric AEDs at Chapel Road Park and Alfred B. Hilton Park on Gravel Hill Road.

The housings for the AEDs also include a stop-the-bleed kit and Narcan, providing a comprehensive emergency response kit for those in need.

In the event that any of these life-saving items are required, all residents need to do is call 911 and provide the address listed on the box. The Harford County Department of Emergency Services 911 operator will then give the code to gain entry, along with instructions on how to use the items.
