Perry Hall Man Charged In Connection To Edgewood Shooting

HARFORD COUNTY - On Monday, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division, charged 30-year-old Joseph Albert Ashley of Perry Hall with first-degree murder in connection to an Edgewood shooting.

On April 12, 2022, police responded to reports of a shooting at the 100 block of Reider Court in Edgewood. After arriving on the scene, officers located 30-year-old Angello Osborne suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies and EMS personnel provided emergency care but were unable to save Osborn.

During the course of the nearly year-long investigation, the Criminal Investigations Division determined that multiple suspects were involved in the shooting.

According to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, Ashley has been identified as one of the suspects. The investigation is ongoing, and the Harford County Sheriff’s Office asks that anyone with information relating to the identity of these additional suspects contact Detective Kevin Smith at (443) 409-3576.

Ashley faces charges of first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony/violent crime. He is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on unrelated charges.
