Harford County Seeking Public Input On Parks And Recreation Plan

HARFORD COUNTY - The Harford Community has been invited to weigh in on the county's final draft 2022 land preservation, parks and recreation plan (LPPRP).

The plan helps guide create goals for Harford NEXT and is required by the state for continued participation in Program Open Space.

“I encourage Harford County residents to review this draft plan and provide their input on priorities related to land preservation and parks and recreation facilities,” Harford County Executive Cassilly said.

The 2022 LPPRP will be presented to the Harford County Council for final approval and adoption this spring.

The document is available for download and viewing at www.harfordcountymd.gov/225/Parks-Recreation. Citizens who would like to comment on the contents of the plan can do so at pr@harfordcountymd.gov. The public comment period for the draft LPPRP will remain open through March 15.
