HAVRE DE GRACE - As you drive over the MD Route 155 bridge over I-95, you may notice a new sign. In a ceremony on Saturday at American Legion Post 47, the bridge was dedicated in honor of Army Specialist Ronald Spudis.
Spudis, a Havre de Grace native, joined the army after graduating from John Carrol High School in 1968 and was deployed to Vietnam.
He was killed in action on December 11, 1971, during combat in the Long Khan province. Spudis was posthumously awarded the Silver Star of Valor, Bronze Star, Air Medal, Purple Heart, and Vietnam Gallantry Cross for his heroism in the heat of battle. According to Harford County, his actions saved the lives of his fellow soldiers.
The dedication was requested by Harford County Executive Bob Cassily and was unanimously approved by members of the MTA board.
You can leave a remembrance for this fallen Havre de Grace hero on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund website.

Another Governor that talks the talk but, don’t walk the walk!  Political Elite! Â
This is just the beginning of the INSANE, reckless, wasteful spending you'll see & hear about. Most teens have better spending habits then these folks. Don't say "I didn't TELL YOU" because I didn't vote for them, and, I did " TOLD YOU SO "
These politicians are the sludge of society. Wes and Johnny and the gang. Maybe a reporter could ask them about it, but they won’t. These politicians are horrible.
