Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Wonderful New Year to you, Havre de Grace!

Harford County Public Schools are closing on Friday for winter break, leaving some parents struggling to find things to do. This list contains six kid-friendly events (and two Christmas cocktail-related events) to entertain you this week.

Mayor Bill Martin has chosen his film for this year's Mayors Pick Film Screening. The holiday classic "Scrooged" will be shown at Cultural Center at the Opera House on Monday, December 26. This is a great opportunity to mingle with the Havre de Grace community and watch a wonderful Christmas movie! Tickets are $10.

There are two "making" workshops this week, one for Yule candles and another for Christmas Cocktails. If you're looking to get crafty this week, don't miss these awesome classes!

Coakley's Pub in downtown Havre de Grace is hosting several holiday bar events this week, including the Saxl Rose Holiday Show! After a busy year of playing shows and traveling, Saxl Rose is excited to bring it all back home!
