HAVRE DE GRACE - Harford County is giving a special thanks to bus riders this holiday season: free rides.
The Harford Transit LINK fixed route bus service has announced it will be going “fare-free” starting Thursday, December 22, through Friday, Dec. 30.
Harford Transit LINK administrator Gary Blazinsky says this is a way of thanking patrons for their patience during the pandemic.
"Our riders have shown continued support over the last few years as we have navigated through the complications of the pandemic while providing safe transportation to the citizens of Harford County," Blazinsky said. "We are pleased to go fare-free over the holidays to show our appreciation."
Harford Transit LINK will be closed on December 26 and Jan. 2. The bus service does not run on weekends.
The regular fare will be reinstated on January 3.

This is just the beginning of the INSANE, reckless, wasteful spending you'll see & hear about. Most teens have better spending habits then these folks. Don't say "I didn't TELL YOU" because I didn't vote for them, and, I did " TOLD YOU SO "
These politicians are the sludge of society. Wes and Johnny and the gang. Maybe a reporter could ask them about it, but they won’t. These politicians are horrible.
