It's the weekend before Thanksgiving! Time for making the final plans for your Turkey Day feast, picking up carry-out Thanksgiving dinner, or just enjoying the brisk fall weather.

Whatever your plans are this weekend, we have got you covered with fun events from around Havre de Grace!

On Saturday, Saint Mark's Episcopal Church will be hosting an Organ concert by world-renowned musician and scholar, Patrick Kabanda. Kabanda is a Juilliard-trained organist and Fletcher-trained international affairs professional. He received Juilliard's William Schuman Prize for outstanding achievement and leadership in music in 2003, and from 2012 to 2013 he was a Charles Francis Adams Scholar at The Fletcher School of Tufts University. Don't miss this chance to hear one of the world's preeminent organists in Havre de Grace!

First Christian Church is donating free Thanksgiving dinners to those in need at 800 Giles St on Saturday. If you're interested, all you need to do is drive up to the church on the morning of the 19th and they will place a box of food in the trunk. Be sure to share this event with anyone you know who may be in need of some extra supplies this holiday season.

Finally, Yoga Co is hosting two classes this weekend to teach you how to be more mindful and relaxed. On Sunday, they have their "Everything Zen class" featuring mellowed-out kriyas borrowed from kundalini (think neck circles, trunk circles, and hip circles - some of our favorite ways to warm up), followed by holding some of our favorite deep stretch poses, such as pigeon and seated forward fold.

If you're not too busy making last-minute Thanksgiving plans this weekend stop by and check out these events!
