65 Firefighters Battle Two-Story House Fire In Havre De Grace

HAVRE DE GRACE - The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire in a vacant building that occurred on Friday.

According to the State Fire Marshal, It took 65 firefighters more than an hour to get the blaze under control at a two-story building on the 2000 block of Pulaski Highway. Officials said the fire started around 12:30 p.m. and caused $100,000 in damage to the property.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Investigators have asked for the public’s help in identifying a possible witness. According to officials, a female driver of a maroon Camaro may have witnessed trespassers on the property before the start of the fire.
