Aberdeen Proving Grounds Plans Tests This Week
ABERDEEN - Don't be startled by loud noises and booms this week in Havre de Grace. The Aberdeen Proving Ground has scheduled testing and soldier training for the week of October 17-21.
The Proving ground has stated that the soldier training will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and that will be an additional "single firing event" on Wednesday, October 19 at an undisclosed time.
Havre de Grace residents may hear booms or the faint sound of gunfire, especially near the bay. Residents may also spot flashes of bright light coming from illumination devices used in the testing.
