HAVRE DE GRACE - Police say an individual was flown to the hospital Monday morning after being found under the Millard E. Tydings Memorial Bridge off I-95 in Havre de Grace.
According to police, an unattended car was stopped on the highway near the bridge when a tractor-trailer truck crashed into the back of the unattended vehicle. First responders located the driver 200 yards from the car, and he was taken to a shock trauma center with multiple injuries.
According to the Susquehannah Hose Company, MDSP Aviation may have assisted with the driver's evacuation.
Police are yet to determine why the driver was so far away from their vehicle or why the car was left unattended.
