HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A lottery player in Havre de Grace won $10,000 this week, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The customer at Herb’s on the Curb in the 4000 block of West Chapel Road purchased a ticket for the Million Dollar Mega Multiplier game, a scratch-off that costs $20 to play.
Officials said the ticket in Havre de Grace was among 37 statewide sold or redeemed in the week that ended Aug. 21 worth at least $10,000.
Other Harford County winners included a woman in Edgewood who claimed $100,000 from a scratch-off and a $10,000 winner who bought a ticket at Carsins Run Liquors, according to lottery officials.
The largest prize in the state will go to a Multi-Match player who has not yet come forward to claim $2.2 million from a ticket purchased in the White Marsh-Middle River area, officials said.
