HdG Arts, Wine & Jazz Fest To Feature Harford Musician
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A Harford County jazz musician whose solos have made it to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts will be playing this weekend at the 5th annual Havre de Grace Arts, Wine & Jazz Fest.
Kayla Waters of Harford County will deliver her soulful jazz piano performance. Two other artists — Chandra and the Ryze Band and Saxl Rose — are also set to play against the backdrop of the Susquehanna River, on the grounds of the Susquehanna Museum at the Lock House.
Vendors will sell their wares, food trucks will be on tap and wine tasting will be available for those who are age 21 and up. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
The Arts, Wine & Jazz Fest will be from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Lock House Museum, 817 Consesteo St., Havre de Grace. Tickets are $15 to $75, depending on whether people plan to drink and receive souvenir wine glasses or beer, wine and spirits tastings. They are available on Eventbrite.
The event is sponsored by the Havre de Grace Colored School Museum and Cultural Center, and proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organization's effort to preserve the history housed at its building on Alliance Street.
