Lecturer Bill McIntyre takes us on a journey with slides of the geology of Garrett Island and its history from prehistoric times to its earliest occupation by Virginia and Maryland settlers and of the industrial and other activities conducted on the island during the 18th & 19th centuries. The information to be presented draws upon archival sources and archeological explorations.
