Timonium father and husband with over 30 years of Army Reserve service, I deployed to Afghanistan in 2010, making it home just in time to coach LTRC youth football.  Trained racehorses in a previous life and ran for Congress in 2012 - CD2.  Got my bachelor's from Cornell and a master's in public policy from the University of Maryland.  Lead singer for the band Release, but currently deployed to Korea.  I'm looking forward to hanging up the uniform in the fall of 2013 and intensifying my focus on civil leadership...because our state and our country sure need it.
