Yes, a convicted child molester, one appointed to a civic association that promotes family events, a pedofile with an ice cream truck, is a personal matter. Get real. Dan is standing up for his community.

ReplyTwo years ago Biller's Bikes resigned from HdG Main Street over its policies. Now MacGregor's Restaurant has left. We encourage a proactive downtown business organization and MacGregor's has proven to be that. We support MacGregor's Restaurant making Havre de Grace better since 1987. -Walter and Mara

ReplyWe created the get-out-the-vote video to bring voter turnout up from its 10% level and we failed. We haven't the time or resources to personally call or write letters to every citizen so we created an open invitation on facebook and on Patch out of necessity and to create an even playing field, simultaneously. I sat with Jim Miller, my personal candidate of choice, for over an hour under his polling place tent in pouring down rain. I thank councilperson David Glenn, who did not attend the video shoot, for taking the time to come over, shake my hand, and thank us for our collective get-out-the-vote efforts. Voting is a right and a privilege and first responders, military and civilians fight and die for that right every day. Next year we'll do better. Thank you to all the voters and candidates for their efforts. -Walter

ReplyThank you Sean and Elizabeth for your election coverage. Our get-out-the-vote campaign might not have achieved its goals but there's something to be said for trying. We thank all the candidates and all the voters that participated. -Mara and Walt

Mr. Craig will have a very tough time rallying base in Prince George and Montgomery counties.
