Barbara and her husband George are the owners/operators of Bahoukas Antique Mall & Beer MuZeum at 408 N Union Ave in Havre de Grace.

Barbara is an elected member of the City Council for the City of Havre de Grace. She is a former member of the board of Directors of Havre de Grace Main Street Inc, and has spear headed Main Street's "Clean, Green and Safe Committee".
