Driver Killed in I-95 Crash is Identified

Yvette Allen, 35, of Aberdeen was killed in the two-vehicle crash Saturday near Exit 85.

Maryland State Police officials have released the name of the driver killed in a two-vehicle collision on I-95 near the Aberdeen exit Saturday morning. Yvette Allen, 35, of Aberdeen was killed when the Ford Expedition she was driving crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer truck parked on the shoulder of the highway near Exit 85 to Aberdeen, according to state police officials. A preliminary investigation shows that for unknown reasons Allen drove onto the shoulder of the highway, striking the truck. The truck driver's name was not released. Saturday Morning Crash on I-95 Kills One

The crash at the northbound Aberdeen exit ramp involved a vehicle and a tractor-trailer truck.

A crash on northbound I-95 involving a car and a tractor-trailer truck has killed one person. The crash occurred at about 7:55 a.m. on I-95 at the exit ramp to Aberdeen, according to Harford County Fire and EMS spokesman Rich Gardiner. Gardiner confirmed one fatality in the crash and said Maryland State Police are investigating the incident. No more information is available at this time.

This is a terrible and heartbreaking time for Chris, their 5 sons and Mike (Yvette's father-in-law. I know the family is suffering in pain at this time.
