UPDATE: Police-Involved Shooting in White Hall

A White Hall man sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

UPDATE: (9:39 p.m.)—A Maryland State Police trooper shot a White Hall man Monday afternoon after the man pointed a shotgun at him, police say. Shortly before 1:30 p.m. a woman called 911 and said her boyfriend, 52-year-old John E. Murphy, was armed and announcing he wanted to be killed by police, according to a release from state police. Edgewood Shooting Victim Has Been Shot Before

Police release the name of the Saturday shooting victim.

While police say the Saturday shooting of a 20-year-old Edgewood man was not random, it remained unclear Monday whether the incident was related to gang or drug activity. Before 1:30 p.m., Solothol Delilly, 20, was hit over the head then shot in the leg outside the the Save-a-Lot in the 1800 block of Pulaski Highway in Edgewood, according to a statement from the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Delilly was taken by Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company ambulance to Upper Cheasapeake Medical Center for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening. Perryman VFW Shooting Under Investigation

A South Carolina man was shot in the Perryman area Friday night, police said.

A South Carolina man was shot in the arm during a Friday night function at the VFW post 6054 in Perryman, police said. The victim and witnesses of the crime, however, have not cooperated with investigators, Monica Worrell, public information officer with the Harford County Sheriff's Office, said Monday. Around 2:18 a.m. Saturday, sheriff's deputies were called to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air to investigate a shooting report, Worrell said. Hospital staff contacted law enforcement after a male resident of Manning, SC, was brought to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound. UPDATED: Man Flown to Shock Trauma With Gunshot Wound

A man sustained an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at the park-and-ride on Route 155 Thursday.

UPDATED (5:05 p.m.)—A man was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Thursday after sustaining what was believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the park-and-ride at the I-95 interchange along Maryland Route 155 in Havre de Grace. The man's condition was unknown as of late Thursday afternoon. Maryland State Police were called to the scene of a shooting around 1 p.m. Officials remained at the scene with yellow tape marking off sections of the commuter parking lot around 2 p.m. "All we know at this point is that it is a self inflicted gunshot wound," a state police spokesman said. Police Respond to Shots Fired on Otsego Street

The incident took place shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday on Otsego Street in Havre de Grace.

Shots were fired from a vehicle on the 600 block of Otsego Street Saturday night, but no one was injured, Havre de Grace police said. The incident took place just after 7 p.m., according to Havre de Grace Police Department spokesman PFC Jeff Gilpin. "They found no homes that were damaged, no injuries to anybody. They did find some shell casings on the ground from a small-caliber handgun," Gilpin said. "Someone apparently stuck a firearm out of the window of a vehicle and fired shots up into the air." 2 Arrested, Charged in Edgewood Murder

The murder took place in the early morning of Dec. 8.

Police arrested two men Friday in connection with a Dec. 8 murder in Edgewood. The Harford County Sheriff's Office arrested Joseph Andrew Nelson, 20, of Edgewater Drive in Edgewood, and Coty Lamonte Wilson, 21, of Mountain Road in Fallston on Friday. Nelson and Wilson were charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Christopher Curtis Alves, 21, of Edgewood. Both are being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center, according to a release from the sheriff's office. The murder took place in the 1300 block of Harford Square Drive, O Court, in Edgewood. Alves was found dead by sheriff's deputies inside a silver Dodge Magnum after police received a report of a woman screaming in the area just before 9 a.m. …

Aberdeen Man Kills Self Near Tydings Park Playground

The victim, 46, shot himself in his pickup truck in Yacht Basin parking lot.

UPDATE (10:25 p.m.)——An Aberdeen man fatally shot himself in Tydings Park just after 6 p.m. Friday as people gathered for a nearby concert. Aberdeen and Havre de Grace police negotiated with James Dean McCreary, 46, of the 200 block of Parke Street for about 20 minutes before he killed himself. The victim raised a gun to his chin multiple times while officers attempted to dissuade him from pulling the trigger, Havre de Grace Police Department spokesman PFC Jeff Gilpin said. At 6:11 p.m., McCreary fired a single bullet into his chest. He was transported by the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps to Harford Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:38 p.m., Gilpin said.
