The Perryville campus for the church moves from the high school to the middle school.
Restore Church was initially known for its unconventional services. Now, it's also known as an organization constantly growing and adapting to its supporters. Months after opening a second campus in Cecil County, the Havre de Grace-based church is moving. The Perryville location switches from the high school to the middle school this Sunday. The Perryville Middle School, located at 850 Aiken Ave, will host a 10:15 a.m. servie. The Havre de Grace church will continue to host a 6 p.m. Saturday service, and Sunday programs at 9, 10:15 and 11:30 a.m. See a video on the change here. TELL US: Have you attended a Restore Church service in Perryville? Leave a comment.

Expanding to three services wasn't enough. The congregation at Restore Church is requiring more. Jess Bousa, lead pastor at Restore Church, told Patch that the church is adding a Saturday service and a second location. Bousa will begin delivering a Sunday morning sermon in Perryville this spring. "My vision is to have 10 campuses in 10 years throughout Harford and Cecil counties," Bousa said, adding that an Abingdon campus is in the plans. The Perryville campus will operate from Perryville High School beginning at 10:15 a.m. on Easter Sunday. "What we discovered is 25 percent of our people are coming from Cecil County, through Perryville to Havre de Grace. A lot of our solid, faithful people are from Cecil County," Bousa said. Saturday …

The New Jersey native and his wife, Elizabeth, moved to Havre de Grace last year, restoring an old church on Ontario Street—a small, white building with a partial view of the Susquehanna River. It wasn't ideal, Bousa said, but it was the right place. As it turns out, Havre de Grace has been the ideal place to restore a church and to restore faith. Bousa launched the church Sept. 11, 2011—the…

The Good Cause Foundation hosted a Christmas party at the Havre de Grace Activity Center recently, presenting gifts to 215 children from needy families. "We found these families through Catholic Charities, Joy Project, Salvation Army and local Restore Church needy families," Good Cause's Elizabeth Bousa told Patch in an email. Good Cause volunteers selected gifts from a list provided by the sponsored children involved in the event. A puppet show, crafts, treats and a DJ playing kid-friendly tunes joined Santa at the Havre de Grace Activity Center on Dec. 18. Have photos from the event?
