A Havre de Grace man involved in a motorcycle accident on U.S. Route 40 in May has died. Aaron Peterson, 45, died Friday—five days after his wedding anniversary, his wife, Anne, told Patch in an email. "He was an amazing man and father and did a lot for this community," Anne Peterson said in the email to Patch. Peterson was a member of Havre de Grace City Hall staff and a volunteer with the Susquehanna Hose Company dive team. "He did so much for so many and touched so many lives," Anne Peterson said. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, followed by a reception at the family's home, according to an obituary on Zellman Funeral Home's website. The accident took place around 1 p.m. on Thursday in the 1800 block of Pulaski Highway, and closed traffic in both directions for a portion of the afternoon. Susquehanna Hose Company Chief Scott Hurst confirmed to Patch that one patient was flown by helicopter to an area hospital following an accident involving a motorcycle. Not necessary to put a light at intersection but, maybe perhaps a new traffic patter laid out directing cars in better position. ( short light like the one just past 543 or right turn only coming out of Bulle Rock).
