The Havre de Grace Police Department said that vehicles on five roads were hit by eggs.
Police say they have no suspects in a rash of vandalism to more than a dozen vehicles in Havre de Grace this week. Officers were patrolling the neighborhoods of Grace Harbor, Bayview Estates, Grace Manor and Havre de Hills at 1:11 a.m. on Jan. 6 when they noticed that 13 vehicles had been egged, according to a statement from police. Police provided the following breakdown of locations where the vehicles were discovered to have been egged: Eggs can damage the paint on a car. To remove the egg, Popular Mechanics recommends using warm water, a commercial car wash detergent and a microfiber towel. The Havre de Grace Police Department responded to multiple reports of vandalism this week.
The Havre de Grace Police Department received several reports of vandalism recently, from a vehicle covered with a strange white substance to a mangled soap dispenser. Vehicle Vandalism On Dec. 1, a blue Mustang was keyed on the 600 block of Franklin Street, according to police. The incident was reported at 12:53 p.m. Saturday. No further information was available. Public Property Vandalism Saturday morning, police were alerted that a piece of public property had been taken for a walk by the water. At 9:30 a.m. on Dec.1, police found that a park bench on the 100 block of Lafayette Street, near the Concord Point Lighthouse, was not in its usual place. Havre de Grace police responded to four instances of vehicle vandalism in Bayview Estates Sunday night. Vehicles were spray painted on Mallard Court and Tidewater Drive, police said. Police have no suspects in the incidents. Officers first responded to the 200 block of Mallard Court at 7:31 p.m. on Feb. 26 for a report of spray paint on a vehicle’s windows. Officers responded to two more reports on the same block within the next 20 minutes. Police received a report from the 300 block of Tidewater Drive at 8:37 p.m. In each case, spray paint was used to vandalize the vehicles. Click here for a map of the incidents.
