Readers: Almacy & Moats For Tax Help

Aberdeen and Havre de Grace readers agree on the best spot for tax help.

The gurus at Almacy & Moats have such a good reputation for helping with taxes that readers in a neighboring Patch voted the business the best in the area. With a runaway win in the poll in Aberdeen and the lone favorable comment in Havre de Grace, the Aberdeen-based public accounting firm was chosen by the readers of Aberdeen Patch and Havre de Grace Patch as the best spot to visit for last-minute tax help. The business is still waiting its first rating and review, though. So if you've had a good experience with Almacy & Moats, go post your review and rating on their directory listing. Sam's Sandwiches: Which Is Your Favorite?

Patch readers told us this week where to go for sandwiches in Havre de Grace.

The readers' choice in this one was fairly clear-cut early in the week. But the volume of requests means that, while there was one that stood out as an overall favorite, Havre de Grace residents have a wide variety of good sandwich spots. A total of 17 establishments were nominated, but Sam's Deli was the runaway favorite for the best sandwich in Havre de Grace amongst Patch readers. Don Laye said, "Sam's Deli can't beat. Sam doesn't cut corners and skimp when it comes to freshness and quality. Plus Sam and his wife are two of the nicest folks you'd ever want to meet." A former favorite, Cianelli's, garnered a number of comments in a unique blast from the past for readers. Other highly-regarded sandwiches included those at Pat's Pizzeria, …

Readers say All Access Fitness in Aberdeen is the best gym in Aberdeen and Havre de Grace.

Aberdeen and Havre de Grace may not have an abundance of spots to work out. But when residents do work out locally, they're proud of their gym. Readers were adamant, though, that Aberdeen has the best gym in the area: All Access Fitness. All Access owner Doug Hickey recognized the other gyms in the area, but credited his with having the best customers. "Each offers similar fitness services,  but by far All Access Fitness has THE BEST Members. Without them All Access Fitness wouldn't survive," Hickey wrote in a comment on Patch. "I love the camaraderie between the members. Find out for yourself regardless of where you may workout." Hickey went on to offer a free workout for all Patch readers from March 5-8 during staffed hours. Patch …
