Patch shares photos and videos from Monday's Havre de Grace City Council meeting.
The awards, proclamations and recognitions were aplenty at Monday's City Council meeting. So I kept the camera handy and snapped as many photos as possible from my front-row seat at City Hall. I shot some video, too. If you have photos or video of the honorees, please add them to the post for others to enjoy. To catch the full recap from the meeting, check out our updated live blog from Monday night. TELL US: What was the highlight of Monday's meeting for you? Leave a comment below.

Havre de Grace wants another championships this winter.
Chris Worrell spent the fall rehabbing a knee he injured in another sport. But in December, the Havre de Grace senior didn’t hesitate when asked how physically challenging swimming can be. “I think swimming is harder than any other sports I’ve played,” Worrell said. “It works the entire body. And you’re getting stronger.” Worrell, who is deciding between Delaware and potentially swimming at Salisbury with former Havre de Grace teammate Dan Schoeberlein, is one of the veteran leaders on the 20-1 Warriors. The Warriors had their aims on a perfect regular season. While they came up just short in that goal, the season isn’t lost. Havre de Grace …

Two new classmates at Havre de Grace High School will share a name when they visit for the first time Tuesday. Only they won't be students. They'll be under the watchful eye of students and teachers. Rebecca Orr's classroom includes cubby-like lockers for the four children and a corner with a matt and educational toys for the kids. Patch stopped in the night before the children were to visit for their first day. See the photos of the cool, new facility with this post. TELL US: What are your thoughts on the daycare facility at …
