Harris Field Snack Shack Break-In: Havre de Grace Crime

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information.

Pulaski Highway, 1000 block. 4:43 p.m. on May 6. Identity theft was reported. N. Juniata Street. 7:38 a.m. on May 6. The lock was pried off the Harris Field snack shack sometime between 8:30 p.m. on May 5 and 7:30 a.m. on May 6. Nothing was reported stolen, and there are no suspects. Conesteo Street, 800 block. 5:53 p.m. on May 5. A housekeeper for the city of Havre de Grace found that a bathroom sink had been removed from a public restroom. The wall mounting was damaged and the pipes had been destroyed. The estimated repair cost was $150. Police said there are no suspects. Pulaski Highway, 900 block. 1:18 p.m. on May 5. Police arrested a 43-year-old man from Juniata Street on a warrant. Officers were investigating a shoplifting incident …

Alleged Havre de Grace Home Burglar Caught on Tape

The Harford County Sheriff's Office said a resident captured the suspect on camera.

After a Havre de Grace resident caught a burglar in the act via home surveillance video, the Harford County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying the suspect. According to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, the alleged burglar broke into a home on the 4000 block of Wilkinson Road in the rural outskirts of Havre de Grace on April 17 and April 20, then stole personal property. The victim caught the suspect on tape in both instances, and the Harford County Sheriff's Office issued a press release Tuesday with images from the recording. The sheriff's office asked that anyone with information about the identity of the suspect contact Detective Philip Golden at 410-836-5430. Callers may remain anonymous.

Mailbox Through Car Window: Havre de Grace Crime

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information.

Lewis Street, 700 block, 1:35 p.m. on April 30. Items—including a debit card—were stolen from an unlocked Ford F-150. Charges totaling $65 were made on the card. Police have no suspects. Tydings Road, 700 block, 9:10 a.m. on April 29. A man reported that two bicycles left chained to a chair on the front porch of his home were stolen between April 28 and April 29. The bikes—a foldable Dahon bicycle and a blue foldable Xootor bike—are valued at $900 total. Bounding Home Court, 300 block, 7:46 p.m. on April 28. A mailbox post was thrown through the window of a 2002 Toyota while it was parked in a driveway in the 300 block of Bounding Home Court. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $800. The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information.

Congress Avenue, 400 block. 4:28 p.m. on April 15. Approximately $320 was stolen. North Union Avenue, 100 block. 1:42 p.m. on April 15. Between March 8 and 26, the Havre de Grace Library said that approximately 350 Blu Ray movies were stolen. Route 40 Gas Station Held Up at Knifepoint

Havre de Grace police said the armed robbery happened Thursday morning.

The BP gas station on US Route 40 was held up Thursday morning, according to the Havre de Grace Police Department. At 1:30 a.m. Thursday, an employee said that a man entered the business on the 1000 block of Pulaski Highway, displayed a knife and demanded money from the register, police reported. The employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money before he left on foot in an unknown direction, according to the report. A 7-Eleven in Abingdon was also held up at knifepoint recently, on April 6, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. TV on Route 40 Mysteriously Disappears, Returns

The Havre de Grace Police Department said there was no explanation behind the burglary.

A burglary reported on US Route 40 in Havre de Grace appears to have righted itself, according to a report from the Havre de Grace Police Department. Police said that at 8:11 p.m. on April 6, officers responded to a burglary reported on the 700 block of Pulaski Highway in which a flat-screen TV was stolen. The victims said they left home for an hour without locking the door and when they returned, their 32" Vizio TV was gone, according to police. One hour after officers responded to the incident, they received a call that the TV was returned, police said.  "Officers inquired as to where the TV came from, but no persons could give a straight answer," Jeffrey Gilpin, spokesman for the Havre de Grace Police Department, said. Harford Sheriff Still Searching for Route 40 Armed Robber

The Harford County Sheriff's Office said the robbery in Havre de Grace was related to two others.

After three armed robberies occurred last week in Harford County, including one in Havre de Grace, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that it is still looking for leads in the investigation. On March 22, an adult store on Route 40 was held up at approximately 8:50 p.m. After the robbery on the 1600 block of Pulaski Highway, the Harford County Sheriff's Office released images of the suspect, who authorities believe is the same man involved in the March 20 Subway stickup in Greenbrier shopping center and March 21 Royal Farms robbery on Churchville Road in Bel Air.
