Liquor Board Member Dies From Accidental Gunshot Wound
Randall Payne Worthington Sr. died after a shooting in Churchville that police believe was accidental.
Randall P. Worthington Sr., local businessman and member of the Harford County Liquor Control Board, was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound suffered in a field in Churchville Wednesday, according to Harford County police. "It appears to be accidental," Harford County public information officer Monica Worrell said of the shooting. Worrell also said that it appears the shot was fired from Worthington's own gun, that he was alone and that investigators found no signs of foul play. She added Worthington was likely target shooting at the time and suffered a head wound which proved to be fatal.
