Upper Chesapeake Alters Visiting Rules Due To Flu

Upper Chesapeake has restricted its visitation police at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and Harford Memorial Hospital. Also, check out some tips on preventing it from spreading.

Harford County's two hospitals will restrict visitor access to patients in order to help mitigate issues surrounding a high volume of flu cases. In a statement shared with Patch Friday afternoon, Upper Chesapeake Health said it "is restricting its visitation policy in a measure to protect patients and to help control the spread of the flu this season. The visitation policy for Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air and Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace has been revised for the flu season."
