Highway Workers Killed In Cecil County Crash

Maryland State police said the accident happened Wednesday morning on Pulaski Highway.

UPDATED (9:40 p.m.)—Two contractors were killed Wednesday morning while working on Pulaski Highway in Cecil County. The cause of the crash was not known as of noon Wednesday, and an investigation was ongoing, according to a release from Maryland State Police. Westbound U.S. Route 40 re-opened to traffic just before noon, according to the State Highway Adminstration.  Police said the workers were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as Luis E. Tadeo, 42, of the 1500 block of Palai Turn of Bowie, and Victor D.
