Best breakfast spot ever! I have moved to PA, but still make the trip to Grace for a delicious omelet. You should, too!!
Vancherrys is tight!! Me and my girlfrinds eat there so much. We love hanging there. Be back soon.
I've had breakfast there on a few occasions on the weekends and the service has been below par. On one occasion, my food was overcooked and another time undercooked. I was surprised when I received the bill as well. I wish them all the best; however, I'm not a fan!
Iv'e had breakfast there twice. The food was o.k. The food was cold both times it was brought out. They were not busy on either morning. The price was a little higher than what I would pay for the same at a local diner. The server was extremely friendly and the atmoshere is both clean and interesting with a mix of the old days and new.After two so so breakfasts, I have not been compelled to return.
At first look, Vancheries is an unassuming little luncheonette. But don't let the look and price fool you. I ordered a Greek omelet at lunch this past Sunday. I was shocked at how incredibly delicious it was. Apparently this little unassuming luncheonette hides a gourmet chef in the kitchen.
Honestly, this is the best food in town. No hoopla, just excellent food and service. Cozy booths, diners greeting each other warmly. Visit more than twice and the waitresses will already know your favs. They do a booming breakfast business but lunch is just as good. Free Wi-Fi too! Try the Reuben.
We spread around our shop's lunch money with all the HdG restaurants, but today, we hit it big at Vancheries. Usually we go for the delicious "design-your-own" breakfast sandwiches. But today we had the patty melt; it's to die for! (You know what I mean.) Surprised there aren't more reviews here because everyone in town was there when we dropped by to pick-up lunch. Great staff, thoughtful owners, good stuff! Five stars!
