Sam's has possibly the best Italian submarine sandwich on the planet!!! Bakery fresh rolls, fresh deli meats and cheeses and lots of them too. This is a must stop when visiting Havre de Grace. Stop in and get a couple of large subs (each one feeds two) and a couple of drinks...Then go to the City Park (Tyding's Yatch basin) and sit at a picnic table. It doesn't get much better that this on a Saturday afternoon. They are closed on Sunday so be aware of that. I have actually ordered via phone while driving up route 95 to visit my old hometown...they are that good.
Try them...you will be overwhelmed...

Being in the military, I always look forward to a Sams cheesesteak when I come home. I've been gone for nearly 4 years and they still remember me! Definitely worth the stop if you've never been.
We treat our shop weekly with a Sam's Deli lunch. Brando and his family run a tight ship: every sandwich as ordered and ready on time for pick-up (easy curbside parking). Love their bread!
So the cheese steak subs are great? I'll have to try that out some time.
Sam's deli is the BEST place in town for a cheesesteak sub! I don't get anything else. The people are wonderful - Brandon knows you by name and the place is always busy. Great spot!!!!!
