Terrible service "with attitude." Food isn't great either. It IS an old style crabhouse, and the crabs are ok, but often overcooked and mushy.

A real down-home crab joint, Price's was established in 1944. You can get steamed crabs sold by the dozen at a good price and eat them at a table covered in brown packing paper. The restaurant has indoor seating with flat-screen TVs and a deck with unobstructed views of the Susquehanna River.

If you are looking for a true Maryland crab house, look no further. Excellent food and excellent service at very reasonable prices. Love taking family and friends here!
I have been to Prices only once since the family sold the business, and, if they are back in the business, I have no knowledge. The seasonings they used were not the ones Prices used and were really heavy with black pepper. When I want steamed crabs to take home I go to the Seafood Dealer up on Rt. 40, and for steamed crabs, etc., that are equal to the best anywhere, I go to Woody's in North East.
I consider Price's Seafood to be one of the most authentic Maryland Seafood Restaurants around. It's the complete package; Location, Ambiance, and Taste. Call ahead to make sure you are interested in the catch of the day. I think it's the best dish they offer.

We showed up as a party of 8 and were turned away since we had no reservation. Place was empty. Woody's welcomed us no problem and provided outstanding product and service.
