Never had a bad meal. All Servers very friendly. Margie is very personable and outgoing. Cant go wrong here.

crappy service, crappy bar scene (less the reputable people populate this hole), and crappy atmosphere. Food's mediocre at best.

I tried it three times during 6 months, each and every time it was bad! In fact, each time was worse than before! Bad food, bad servers with bad attitudes and don't ask for a refill on your soda, because you won't get it! Three strikes and you're out! I won't be visiting ever again!

Food okay. Service bad everytime. If you are a regular and part of the group then you will be fine

The food is average. Just as you could get in most restraunts. The cream of crab soup stands out. The wings are good too. I usually go to the bar to have a few beers. Not to eat. The service has been really good some nights and kind of slow others. Good place to see a Ravens game. Purple shooters on the house at each touch down the Ravens make. Beer selection is pretty decent. They have all the trendy liquors and make all the trendy shooters and shots. The price is right for what you get here. Don't expect a "fine dining" experience. You can get a good meal in a decent atmosphere with out breaking the bank.

Coakley's fits right in with the eclectic nature of downtown Havre de Grace... it has it's own unique personality and draw... the food is good, anytime, and remember that on themed-menu nights, like Wing Night or Steak Night, those popular menu items will take longer, but worth the wait! It's HdG's own version of Cheers, where everyone knows everyone and anyone fits right in! The new decor is relaxing and comfortable, beer selections (both bottles and draft) are great... as a local resident I highly recommend this local watering hole for everything from a nice family dinner, to a romantic first date, to a night out with the boys (or girls)!
Give it a try!

Gotta love Coakley's! Great service and good food. There's a lot to like, but their cream of crab soup, crab pretzel, and wings are my favorites. Reasonably priced. The variety on the menu makes it a great place to take the family; everybody can find something good to eat.

VERY disappointing. It was 1st Friday & things take longer but it was excessive & the wait wasn’t the only issue. We were sat on the side that overlooks the bar, it was extremely loud, music blasting, people yelling & HOT, I would have been happy to wait for a table in the regular dining area. It got so bad that after about a half hour we asked the hostess if we could move to the other side, she says “just go sit in there” pointing to the other room so we went in & found an empty table. My drink was so strong I couldn’t drink it, I asked if they could make it less strong & was told not really, so it sat there untouched the whole meal. We got our appetizers & our server went MIA, she stopped by once to refill our drinks but never came back with them, we waited an excessively long time with no explanation & at that point no drinks. Our food came out & we asked about our drinks, she brought them & MIA again. We waited forever for the check & sat there even longer waiting for change, people walked back & forth around us as we sat there waiting, the hostess was straightening her hair in the dining area (with a plug in flat iron) finally she walks over grabs our stuff, hands it to the busboy & says “Can you give this to ? so we can get out of here.” We asked to speak to a manager, a man came out & I explained the situation he asked if I knew what 1st Friday was & that they didn’t expect it to be so busy & if we came back another day it would be better.

If you have a group of 5 or more they will not seperate the check and charge an automatic 18% gratuity, You have to do the math yourself and "Tell us how much to charge on the credit cards". Not worth the attitude...

The worst customer service ever!!!! Ordered shrimp salad sandwich on white toast to go with waffle fries. When I got home with it, was on a burnt kaiser and no fries! When we called, they said well we were slammed and we are out of white bread, just come back and we will give you a new roll and your fries. REALLY??? A new roll???
