The Water Plant on St. John Street filters water that goes out to residents and visitors of the City. The plant received a $9 million upgrade in 2010, including the installation of a solid handlings system to filter the water -- a combined project by the City and Harford County. The Water Plant is not accessible to residents. Water bills can be paid at City Hall.

Anyone else get a phone call at 7:30 pm saying that the water plant is being shut down at 11:00 pm for repairs and there won't be any water pressure? If this was a scheduled event, shouldn't there be more than 3.5 hrs. notice? And why isn't there anything about it on the city's website?
