It's sad because if this rating was soley based on food I would atleast give a 4 star, but sadly I will have to give a 1 for a particular employee. After being seated we sat for 25 minutes and nobody came to our table. Nobody asked to take our drink order or anything. The two servers that were working were too busy chatting with friends at a table close by. We finally walked out. I will never go back to bateman's in Havre de Grace. What a shame...

I went once. The food and feel of the place make me think I'd return. What changed that was the server who felt the need to make defamatory remarks about set of customers present. Its a shame when the face of a business is ruined by an employee, but employers should kind of watch for that.
We go there frequently and the food is always good. It is a place you can go with friends or your family. Christian and Lisa are wonderful people and extremely generous and supportive of their community!!
Love Bill Bateman's! They have an excellent Boca Burger.( I always order it with bleu cheese crumbles instead of provolone.) Sweet potato fries are delicious. Relaxing atmosphere. Service is great & friendly. I'm vegetarian, but my husband has tried many menu items and has never been dissatisfied.
Its kind of a sports bar meets dinner atmosphere. They serve mainly seafood based foods. Great burgers. Service is good and friendly. Clean. They also have an outdoor dining area to enjoy the beautiful weather.
I've tried Bill Bateman's (Bistro) 4 or 5 times. Food was okay, nothing to write home about, but prices are a little high. Service was average.

I love this place. Always friendly and caring. Sometimes, because it is a popular place, you have to wait. But, it is worth it. Have their crab cakes or wings. Delicious! Good ribs too. Also, I listened to a table complaining about something(cannot make everyone happy) but they took whatever they were complaining about off the check, How many places will do this! Go and enjoy!
