Warriors Lacrosse Racks Up 2 Wins

Havre de Grace scooped up a pair of victories at home Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Warriors boys lacrosse team beat the Rams Wednesday night at home, 22-7.

Havre de Grace players Brian Cameron and Casey Brown each had nine points in the 6:45 p.m. game against Edgewood.

This was the second competition of the season for the boys, who lost by one point against Aberdeen on March 21, with a final score of 11-12.

The boys will play Joppatowne next, in a 6:45 p.m. game at home on Friday, April 5.

The Warriors girls lacrosse team had a strong start to the season Tuesday with a win over the Elks, 11-5.

The girls played at home, in a 6:45 p.m. game at Harris Stadium.

After their first four shots at goal were blocked by Elkton's goalie, Havre de Grace started putting numbers on the board and then quickly began racking them up, The Aegis reported.

Next up, the Warriors girls lacrosse team plays the Cobras. The 6:45 p.m. game will be at Harford Technical High School on Thursday, March 28.
