Football: 3 Cecil Teams, Hawks Alive In Playoffs

North Harford was the lone Harford County team to advance to the MPSSAA postseason.

The Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference landed four football teams in the MPSSAA region playoffs, but just one from Harford County.

North Harford will be the lone representative from the county, while in Cecil County, UCBAC schools Perryville, Bo Manor and Elkton have advanced to the postseason.

It marks the first time since the UCBAC was created in 2003 that Harford County has just one representative in the football playoffs.

North Harford is postseason-bound for the fourth straight year and the seventh time in the past eight years.

Five Harford County schools advanced last year.
