It was deja vu at the Harford County Board of Education meeting Monday night.
For the second year in a row, the board was faced with the decision of what to do with Havre de Grace High School, which presents security and administrative challenges due to its configuration and buildings on Congress Avenue.
"The board was provided with three options: limited renovation, modernization alternate and a replacement building. The third option was the recommendation of the committee," Kranfeld said in the board newsletter "In the Loop."
"Alternate schemes were also developed to include a combination middle/high school plan," Kranefeld said. "The Board voted to approve the scope study option C [replacement] with a vote of 6–3."
