After graduating a strong senior class, though, the girls lacrosse team looks poised for another great season, thanks to a wealth of young talent returning from last year's 12-4 team.
Sarah Scholl enters her seventh season as the Warriors coach with an impressive 59-29 record.
She doesn't like to dole out accolades before the season, saying she would "rather recognize the team as a whole for the start of the season."
Seven starters return, including one each at attack, defense and goalie, and four in the midfield.
"We have a fairly young team with only one senior and the rest of the team made up of mostly sophomores and juniors and after graduating eight seniors last season, we are looking forward to see which players will step up and fill some pretty big shoes," Scholl said. "We have added some new teams to our schedule and are looking forward to the challenge. This will be a great opportunity for us to grow as a team and to broaden the experience of the girls."
