A public hearing, three resolutions and a license agreement involving a fence will come before Havre de Grace City Council in its first October meeting Monday.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at City Hall.

The evening will open with a public hearing on an ordinance concerning the city's building code.

Council will begin the meeting by recognizing four students of the month, followed by a presentation involving the leadership of Aberdeen Proving Ground. Mayor Wayne Dougherty and Council President Randy Craig will also make a special presentation.
Three resolutions—available to preview below, in draft form—are on the agenda:
- Proposed Resolution: Chamber of Commerce Lease Extension
- Proposed Resolution: Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail
- Proposed Resolution: Grant Application at 121 St. John Street
Council will also vote on a license agreement for a fence located in the city right-of-way at 800 South Stokes Street.
Also up for approval are two special events: the annual Havre de Grace Recreation Committee Halloween parade (Oct. 30) and the Havre de Grace Independence Day Celebration (July 2-16, 2013).
