A 14-year-old had minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Juniata Street Monday, according to The Aegis, which reported she was taken to Harford Memorial Hospital as a precaution.

First responders were called to the crash on North Juniata Street at Pennington Avenue at approximately 5:36 p.m., according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.

Police said the driver was traveling below the speed limit due to the pedestrian activity in the area and would not be charged, The Aegis reported.

Spectators and athletes came together Monday night at Harris Stadium, where Havre de Grace High School was hosting the UCBAC lacrosse championship. In a 5 p.m. game, C. Milton Wright beat Edgewood (17-3), and in a 7 p.m. matchup, Bel Air beat North East (12-6), The Cecil Whig reported.
