Havre de Grace Crime: Violence on Saint John, Wilson Streets

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information.

Girard Street. 11:18 p.m. on Jan. 14. A 20-year-old Aberdeen man was charged with possession of marijuana as the result of a traffic stop.

Alliance Street, 700 block. 2:35 p.m. on Jan. 14. The mirror on the driver’s side of a vehicle was torn off overnight. Police said there are no suspects and damage was estimated to be $300.

Erie Street, 800 block. 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 14. An antenna was stolen from the yard between Jan. 13 and 14.

Lafayette Street, 100 block. 12:11 p.m. on Jan. 14. A window was broken.

South Adams Street, 1000 block. 11:07 a.m. on Jan. 13. A camera, eyeglasses and Sears purchases were reported stolen from a vehicle in the victim’s driveway. They were taken Jan. 11.

Wilson Street, 100 block. 9:49 a.m. on Jan. 13. A shed was damaged.

Water Street, 600 block. 1:12 a.m. on Jan. 13. A 23-year-old woman from the 3000 block of Level Road was charged with DUI during a traffic stop.

Otsego Street, 800 block. 10:38 p.m. on Jan. 12. Two Havre de Grace women were charged with possession of paraphernalia after running a red light. A K-9 officer was on duty and called in due to previous drug history of the driver. The K-9 signaled the presence of drugs and police conducted a search of the vehicle. Two 23-year-old women, one of the 300 block of Pintail Drive and the other of the 400 block of Battery Drive, were arrested and charged after officers found paraphernalia associated with heroin. The Pintail Drive resident, driver of the silver Mitsubishi Eclipse, was also cited for failing to stop for a red light.

South Stokes Street, 400 block. 6:26 p.m. on Jan. 12. A resident reported a window had been broken in his residence. There are no suspects. Estimated damage was $50.

West Pulaski Highway at Principio Road. 11 a.m. on Jan. 12. A Havre de Grace woman was taken to Harford Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a pickup truck carrying a boat cut in front of her, and her 2006 Chevy Equinovox crashed into it, according to CecilDaily.com.

Wilson Street, 100 block. 10:50 a.m. on Jan. 12. A man came to the front door of another man’s home, hit him in the face and left. Police said the two men knew each other but a motive for the alleged assault was unknown. Officers saw minor injuries visible on the arms and face of the victim, who refused medical treatment. Police have identified the suspect and charges are pending.

Saint John Street, 400 block. 1:37 a.m. on Jan. 12. A 20-year-old Aberdeen woman was arrested outside Coakley’s Pub and charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct after officers saw her repeatedly hit a man in the face with a closed fist. The man sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment. While officers were taking the report, another woman began yelling at police and hit one on the arm with a closed fist. The 26-year-old woman, of the 300 block of Commerce Street, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Franklin Street, 600 block. 8:35 a.m. on Jan. 11. A Social Security card was reported stolen.

Pulaski Highway, 1000 block. 2:24 p.m. on Jan. 10. Police arrested a 22-year-old woman from Port Deposit for attempting to steal cat food and cold medicine valued at $3.83 from Save a Lot. She was also found to have baggies containing what police suspected to be drugs on her person. She was arrested for paraphernalia and theft.

Tydings Road, 800 block. 12:18 p.m.on Jan. 10. Graffiti was found on a mailbox.
