Police found a delivery driver Wednesday morning in Havre de Grace after he was reported missing in Howard County.

Seyed Ghozati, 84, was safe and unharmed when he was located in his car, a 2007 Honda Fit hatchback, in Susquehanna State Park.

Early Wednesday morning, the Howard County Police Department had issued a silver alert for the driver, who was last seen by family members at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday when he was leaving his home in Columbia to make a delivery in nearby Ellicott City.

After making the delivery, Ghozati contacted his boss several times saying he was lost, according to police. Ghozati last made contact with his boss around 12:15 a.m. on Route 175 near Route 3 in Anne Arundel County.

Police said Ghozati was wearing a multicolored ski cap and blue jacket with "RSI" imprinted on it.

When he was found in the state park, he was approximately 60 miles from home.

A citizen saw Ghozati in his vehicle and called police, according to Howard County Police Department spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn.
