Kayaker Still Missing in Susquehanna River

The Susquehanna Hose Company dive team responded to a possible drowning Saturday.

A kayaker who reportedly capsized in the Saturday evening was still missing as of Sunday night, Chief told .

The Susquehanna Hose Company dive team responded to the incident, which took place north of the Mason Dixon Line.

Two men launched kayaks on Muddy Creek to begin a camping trip. When the missing man's boat overturned, the other man attempted to rescue him, but his kayak flipped, as well, the report said. One made it to shore, while the other was reported missing, according to LancasterOnline.

Dave Williams of the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association told ExploreHarford personnel from Darlington and Whiteford volunteer fire companies also joined in the rescue effort.
